The piece was designed as an entry table for the parents of a good friend. Built in teak with the table surface and drawer front in pau ferro (a rosewood from Bolivia). The mirror rising behind the table reflects not only the inset granite, but also casts a halo of light over it. The reflections of the rear verticals in the table surface give an illusion of transparency. Altogether, a very unusual and original piece.
